Michael Poole

Managing Director

Michael is committed to ensuring Bay Moon makes the biggest difference it can. He does this by making sure the business supports its customers and partners through providing high-quality products and services that add real value to their organisations. “We make a difference through our customers making a bigger difference in their world” he says. Michael has a strong grasp of business in general – with the ability to focus on high-priority, time-sensitive actions that are critical to fulfilling potential. When Michael leaves work, he is involved with sharing his leadership and skills with the United Nations Association of South Africa – an organisation that is working hard at making the United Nations Millennium Development Goals a reality. He is the organisation’s treasurer. 

Simon Apfel

Writer/editor

Simon is a writer and communications strategist with a background in politics, philosophy and economics. He is the editor of a number of our print and electronic communications and brings energy, creativity and resourcefulness to the Bay Moon team. Simon is ultimately responsible for our customers stories being communicated effectively to their audiences, something that we believe is at the source of all successful organisations. When Simon is not adding value to Bay Moon’s customers, he is giving his time to schools that are in need of communications services and has also been involved with special education.

Lee Bergman

Web developer/ graphic designer

Lee has the ability to bring our customers stories to life through his vision and skilful design. Fluent across multiple design and development platforms, he brings a calmness and highly effective edge to the organisation, completing a well-balanced Bay Moon team. When Lee leaves work, he steps into his role as a Rotaractor – working tirelessly to enhance the lives of the community around him.
